1st Section of 100' road Causeway Bay & Ming

Yuen Gardens, $45,000 of this sum $25,000 is re-

quired for the road and $20,000 for the rubble mound

opposite the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club. The latter

item has already been approved by the Finance

Committee and the Secretary of State.

Miscellaneous.

Reinstatement of Government Retaining Walls,

$5,000 For further necessary reconstruction work.

Port Works.

Construction of Rubble Mound at North Point,

$20,000

The amount is required to continue the

work in hand.

KOWLOON.

Buildings.

Additions to Kowloon Hospital, $30,000 The

amount is required to commence the following

extensions to the Hospital :- (a) New Ward Block,

(b) Nurses Quarters, (c) Additional European M.O's

Quarters (a) Alterations to laundry to provide

Chinese M.O's Quarters. The total estimated cost

of these works is (a) $112,000 (b) $130,000 (c)

$32,000 (a) $2,500.

Additional lairage at Ma Tau Kok Cattle Depot,

Further lairage accommodation is necessary.
